Each spring, the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA) hosts the Clinical Case Competition and Poster Forum. This peer-reviewed, evidence-based event showcases the outstanding scholarly activity produced annually across the state. View last year’s presentations

Eligibility & Event Details: The competition is open to osteopathic medical students, residents, and faculty/preceptors affiliated with A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (SOMA), Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM), and The Valley College of Osteopathic Medicine (The Valley COM)

Date: Saturday, April 10, 2027

Location: The Valley College of Osteopathic Medicine –  2525 W Townley Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021

Format:

    1. Oral Case Presentations: The top three submitted clinical cases will be selected for live oral presentations.
    2. Poster Forum: Features approximately 50 poster presentations across three distinct categories: (1) Clinical Case, (2) Original Research, and (3) Performance/Population Health Improvement.

Awards will be presented to the top winners in both the oral presentation and poster forum categories following the competition.

Supporting the Osteopathic Mission: AOMA is proud to sponsor this event, which advances our mission to promote the osteopathic medical profession and deliver high-quality medical education. In addition to fostering research, this initiative strengthens member engagement and expands participation within the Association’s committee structure.
